Situation
- Motorola's Wireless Modules business unit approached Ruder Finn shortly upon its inception. The unit was uniquely positioned to leverage Motorola's expertise to become a leader in the burgeoning M2M (Machine-to-machine communications) market. However, the unit had very little structured marketing and no online presence.
- Ruder Finn Israel was selected to oversee the creation of a website to reflect the unit's unique value propositions and increase mind and market share.
Program
- Ruder Finn worked with the client to prepare a detailed sitemap.
- Next, Ruder Finn Israel wrote, edited and oversaw the content creation process.
- Ruder Finn Israel professionals - also involved in creating and executing the unit's overall strategic marketing and communications plan - ensured that all messages created for the website were consistent with messages in other collateral material.
- Client received consultation on visual aspects including imagery, layout, and colors, to ensure that the end product would match corporate guidelines while answering aesthetic and marketing requirements.
- Additionally, Ruder Finn worked with the client and a third party graphic designer to develop a Flash Presentation for the website.
Results
- Through Ruder Finn's guidance and professional tools, Motorola's Wireless Modules business unit was able to project its inherent Unique Value Propositions and increase corporate exposure online.
